1. Business Analyst

At school level, any combination of subjects will work however English, Math, Economics, Accounting and Business Studies are recommended. If the school offers Computer classes, Business Law classes or any other classes that directly relate to business, the student may opt for those. For admission in a bachelor’s degree in a top college, the student must have passed in class 10+2 or its equivalent exam from a recognised Board with minimum 45% marks with English as a compulsory subject.

For higher education, a student may pursue Bachelor of Business Administration/ Bachelor of Business Management/ Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Arts in Economics and can subsequently pursue Master of Business Administration/ Master of Business Management/ Master of Commerce/ Master of Arts in Economics. Business Analysts are required in several industries since their work involves studying processes and recommending positive changes. These industries include Finance, Banking, Insurance, Telecom, Software Services and Government agencies amongst others. They may work in areas such as operations scaling, sales planning, strategy devising or even in developmental process.

Management Consultants may specialise in any one the following areas: change management, strategic management, information technology consulting, human resource consulting, virtual management consulting, operations management consulting, engineering management and management science amongst others. Consultants are employed in mid to big size companies such as Deloitte, KPMG and Accenture.
